Man, the Spurs v. Suns series is brutal! And Nash seems to be taking the brunt of it. There is definitely a lot of animosity between these two teams. For me, this series has cast a very dark shadow on the Spurs. Bowen is just despicable. What Horry did at the end of Game 4 was completely unnecessary! Now I’m rooting for the Suns to go all the way. I especially want them to win the next game. That would be the sweetest revenge but it’s going to be very difficult with both Stoudemire and Diaw out (unfair suspensions, but rules are rules). I was rooting for Golden State but yesterday’s loss was so disappointing.

See’s Gourmet Lollypops Are The Best
Man, I love these suckers. They’re so good! By the way the title is not a mispelling – they call this particular product “Gourmet Lollypops” and I think it ships out of California. I’d definitely recommend everyone giving it a try. There’s 4 different flavors and they’re all decent but I like Butterscotch and Vanilla best (other 2 are Caffe Latte and Chocolate).

Sleeping Position
Hi everyone, not much to post about, I’ve been keeping busy. Got this via Digg:
http://www.flatseats.com/General/positions.htm
It’s about sleeping positions and what they say about your personality. I don’t know how they can correlate sleeping position with personality and I don’t really believe in this stuff but it’s fun to read. I alternate between between Foetus, Yearner, Freefaller, and Starfish so what does that say? And who the heck sleeps in the “Log” position on top of their arm? It looks awkward and uncomfortable. I sometimes wake up in the Freefaller position except my arm is under the pillow and it’s almost completely numb because I cut off circulation. Trust me, it’s very weird when you wake up and you can’t feel your arm.

Broadband Competition is Good!
Okay so where I live, I basically only have 2 options for broadband Internet service – Verizon DSL or Road Runner cable. I’ve obviously opted for the higher speeds and better reliability and switched to RR (resold through Earthlink, slightly cheaper and doesn’t require cable TV service). Verizon FiOS is being deployed in Queens slowly and it’s not available at my home yet (they literally connect fiber to each home). I’ve been itching to switch to FiOS because they give you tremendous bandwidth for around the same price (a bit more). So I was looking up information on when FiOS might be available in my area and was browsing the forums over at broadbandreports.com. That’s where I came upon some interesting news regarding Road Runner.

Children of Men
Children of Men is a great movie – it’s gritty and captivating. It shows a really grim view of the future – the basic premise is that for some unknown reason women become infertile so there are no more babies. The movie starts off with the world mourning the death of the youngest person on the planet (an 18 yr. old). It’s a hopeless, degenerating society and apparently most countries are ravaged by terrorism and chaos. Consequently, the government cracks down hard. Most of the movie takes place in London.

Congratulations to the Dems
So it seems almost certain now that in addition to winning a majority in the House and turning over several governorships, the Democrats have also won a majority in the Senate. More specifically, there are 49 Democrats and 2 independents who’ve said they’d vote with Democrats.

American Election Hacker Testifies
Check out this video and come up with your own conclusions. American computer programmer Clinton Eugene Curtis is seen in this video testifying under oath in front of the U.S. House Judiciary Members in Ohio. Note this guy made sworn testimony in 2004 (after allegations of voter fraud in the 2004 presidential elections in Ohio) and he’s also passed a polygraph test. He testifies on how the software he developed for Congressman Tom Feeney can rig an election 51/49 to a specific side. I demand a recount. This issue continues to be ignored and swept under the rug – there aren’t enough protections in place for our voting system.
