Random things I feel like mentioning without having to write a full post.

  • OMG, ARE YOU PEOPLE WATCHING THIS?

This Wimbledon final is unbelievable. We’re going to a 5th set. Wow. Just WOW!

UPDATE: Well, I’m disappointed Federer lost, but give Nadal credit – he played a great match. Both played unbelievably well. That was probably one of the best matches I’ve ever watched (if not THE best). That was seriously incredible tennis. These guys are untouchable.

  • Diablo III

Well, Blizzard announced Diablo 3 over the weekend. It’s basically the same gameplay, except they’re improving and expanding on everything like graphics, items, etc. You can’t go wrong with that. Blizzard is smart and they know their big franchises have huge installed bases and there’s no reason to fix something that isn’t broken. Don’t rock the boat, just polish everything and make it better. Same deal as StarCraft 2.

  • Battlestar Galactica Mid-Season Finale

Holy frak, that was a good episode. WOW. That is good TV.

  • 35 Articles of Impeachment of President George W. Bush

    http://kucinich.house.gov/News/DocumentSingle.aspx?DocumentID=93581

Bill Clinton got impeached for lying about the Monica Lewinsky sex scandal. Bush lied to the whole country and the world to justify launching a costly, poorly planned, preemptive, and ILLEGAL war. The US invaded a sovereign nation that posed no threat, in violation of domestic and international law and the UN charter. Regardless of everything else this war criminal has done, why hasn’t he been impeached yet? It’s shameful that neither Democratic leadership nor mainstream media are willing to pay more attention to this. This isn’t about politics, it’s a matter of duty to this country – Bush AND Cheney need to be held accountable for their crimes.

  • 2008 French Open Men’s Final, Federer v. Nadal

Wow, I did not expect Federer to be so thoroughly dismantled. Although I knew Federer had to play an excellent match to win, I honestly believed he had a chance. Nadal is just too damn good on clay.

  • Allergy Season 2008

People with nasal allergies like me always know when Spring is in full bloom. Starting about 2 days ago, I began getting a runny nose and sneezing pretty much all day. Spring is definitely in the air. Gotta start popping pills everyday.

  • The Office: Still Funny as Hell

Well The Office finally aired a new episode last week since the writer’s strike. They definitely haven’t lost a beat because this episode was funny as hell from beginning to end. Scrubs was good too but the show isn’t what it used to be in the early years.

  • Bad Stuff Going Down in NY Lately

Eliot Spitzer gets caught using extremely high priced prostitutes. Construction crane, that nearby residents have complained about, crashes – with 4 dead and 3 missing. The Fed bails out Bear Stearns, possible indication of more bad news to come not just for Wall Street but the US economy.

  • Uhm… No, No, NO

“The Hottie and the Nottie” proves the nonexistence of God

“Considering roughly 90% of the civilized world would pay good money to see Ms. Hilton’s brains bashed out by an angry homeless person, Paris Hilton’s presence in this film alone is enough to make it positively horrendous. That she also executive produced it makes it nothing less than an abomination.”

This editorial made me laugh out loud a couple times. Watching this movie may make you dumber by several orders of magnitude. Even entertaining the idea of watching it is really stupid.
