  • Linsational Run Continues

Jeremy Lin had a great first half and showed fatigue in the second half, but the Knicks played team basketball and came out with a hard fought win. It was really great to see the Knicks tough it out and everybody contribute. While Lin had a somewhat poor shooting night, he came away with 20 points, 8 assists, 6 rebounds, and 3 steals. Yes, it’s been a long week with him playing 5 games in 7 nights and average 39 minutes per game, the most of any Knick. But I would still like to see him get stronger and cut down on turnovers. Yes, someone that handles the ball that much is bound to have some turnovers but I think that’s an area where he can improve. Good thing he’s got 2 days to rest up. Keep it up Lin, you’re an inspiration. I’ve never been this excited to watch Knick basketball – or any basketball for that matter. The only thing that might compare is the Jordan days in the 90’s but I was so much younger then.

Yes, this is now the Jeremy Lin blog.

  • LINCREDIBLE

Jeremy Lin drops 38 points (career high), 7 assists, 4 rebounds, and 2 steals against the Lakers tonight. No words. I almost lost my voice. Like the NBA slogan – AMAZING. THE LINSANITY!!!

And 1! Fisher fouled him on that spin move. Lakers banged Lin around tonight, took away driving lanes, and Lin still comes up with 38. LINNING.

  • LINSANITY CONTINUES

Jeremy Lin just had his first double-double and 3rd straight 20+ point game, with 23 points and 10 assists.

    LINNING.

  • JEREMY LIN.

Jeremy Lin started tonight as the Knicks point guard and bested his previous career highs in points (28) and assists (8)!!! I didn’t think I’d be excited to watch Knicks v. Utah but with Lin starting, I couldn’t miss it, and he didn’t disappoint. I don’t want to jump the gun, because New York’s had these flirtations with the flavor of the month like Douglas and Shumpert, but I believe in Jeremy Lin!

He just has to get stronger and improve his conditioning. But D’antoni barely gave him any rest and you could visibly see he was getting very tired in the 4th quarter. I mean, the guy never played more than 20 minutes in an NBA game before Saturday night, all of sudden he’s playing 36 and 45 minutes a game. The guy plays his heart out and can definitely keep improving.

Knicks, just please don’t ship him off – develop this guy. I think it was 2 years ago in a summer league, Lin totally outplayed John Wall. He is real and he has so much room for improvement. Wall’s more developed and confident now but we’ll see the matchup again on Wednesday.

    JEREMY LIN FTW! LINSANITY!

  • Jeremy’s Lin Career Night

One of my fellow Taiwanese, Jeremy Lin of the New York Knicks, was given an opportunity tonight and he made the most of it, having a brilliant performance and putting up a career high 25 points and 7 assists, helping the Knicks win over the Nets. It has even started some talk that perhaps the Knicks have found a viable point guard.

This is not surprising because Jeremy just needed to be given a chance and more play time to improve. He performed pretty well at Golden State with limited minutes. I was kind of worried the Knicks might cut him or ship him back to the D-League. While I believed in him, the Knicks didn’t appear to. Seems like with losses mounting, they got desperate and gave him a shot. And this what you got to do! Work hard and wait for your opportunity!

What I don’t like? Carmelo Anthony with his stupid hands-together bow as acknowledgement. Because Jeremy is Asian? Gimme a break. A normal high five will do.
