What the Deuce!

Man, I am screwed over. I have a case analysis due for my management strategy class tomorrow (or today actually) and I was confused about the due date and did not realize the assignment was due until RIGHT NOW (2 am). The professor had delayed the assignment by one class and I thought it was one week. A classmate told me that it was due and now I have to spend several more hours working on this instead of sleeping. I’m currently considering just not doing this case since the two lowest grades are dropped. If I don’t get enough sleep, I’m literally fucked for the entire day until I can get some type of nap. I need lots of sleep to be fully alert. The dilemma: to do the assignment or slack off and not do it.

Advent Rising

Advent Rising is a game I recently played and really enjoyed. It’s a third-person action/adventure game. The gameplay is unique in its original targeting system which combines traditional weapons and special powers. The story/cinematics and sound are also great. The biggest drawback is the technical glitches throughout the game - such as the camera angle spinning out of control or flying off-angle, getting stuck in weird places, other characters not following you, etc.

What She Doesn’t Know Will Kill You

This was an article that appeared in the UMass college newspaper, The Daily Collegian, written by Matt Brochu, dated November 21, 2003. US Open - Agassi vs. Blake

Wow, the quarterfinal match between Andre Agassi and James Blake was such a great match. 5th set tiebreaker to decide the match. Agassi was down 2 sets to love and came back to win the match. I was rooting for Agassi because hey, the man is 35 years old and still competing with the best players in the world. Blake definitely played a great match, the guy has a very strong forehand but unfortunately for him, Agassi was able to pull through. To Agassi’s credit, there were really some awesome winners and returns.

US Open 2005 Andre Agassi

Meanwhile, during the match I was locked in a battle of my own, going head to head with Tom in Texas Hold’em. I have the short stack but I’ve repeatedly pulled through on rivers and what not, to Tom’s frustration. We’ve temporarily paused the game until tomorrow. :-?

The Situation in New Orleans

First and foremost, everyone should do what they can to help:

I keep reading article after article about how the situation in New Orleans is degenerating and how the lawlessness is rampant i.e. people shooting at hospital evacuations. Seriously, what the heck is wrong with these people? There needs to be a serious crackdown on crime in the city - hopefully the increased troop deployments will help (better late than never).

My Eclectic Schedule for Fall 2005

I’ve pretty much covered all of my AEM requirement and now I’m just filling up on credits for electives and other more minor requirements. Aside from the first 3 courses, everything is either a 1 credit or 2 credit course. This semester I’m taking:
