Google Documents Not Too Shabby

I’ve been working with a client in Australia and the way we’ve been communicating is through a shared document on Google Docs. I’ve checked it out before but never really used it. Well now that we’ve been communicating ideas and project tasks extensively through the document I’ve found it a very useful app for collaborative efforts.

I’ve Hit the Jackpot

I’m announcing my retirement - it’s only $715,950 but I think I can stretch that and bum around for a decade. Okay, I’m kidding. The other day I got a piece of mail (direct mail, NOT email) that came from Spain (I’m not sure, but definitely somewhere in Europe). There’s no return address and I thought… that’s weird, I don’t know anyone in Europe.

Half My Wisdom Is Gone

So today I had a wisdom tooth removed. This is #2 out of 4 that must go. I had one removed a couple of years back. Had to go to an oral surgeon to get the sucker out. It was relatively large and under the gums, so the guy had to cut open my gums, crush the tooth, then clean it out. This time was simpler, my regular dentist basically loosened it up and yanked it out.

So I’ve Gotten Sick

And it sucks. At first it was just really bad strep throat. It was uncomfortable enough to keep me up at night. I started taking antibiotics and downed a bag of cough drops in about 2 days. The soar throat is gone but now I have a full blown cold - fever, headache, sneezing, runny/stuff nose, coughing, UGH. I have a ton of work to do so it’s completely ruining my mojo.

Google PageRank Updates

So it seems Google recently pushed out a PageRank update and this site is now a PR5. A lot of sub-pages and older posts are also PR4. The site used to be PR4/3 so basically it’s a plus 1 increase - not too shabby since I don’t do any SEO for this site. It’s most likely due to the size of the site (posts) and the age of the site because I have very few inbound links. My business site stayed a PR3 but a lot of content pages picked up PR2 so that’s good. Bad news is my Stuffbox site dropped it’s PR altogether!
