Dallas Mavericks v. New Orleans Hornets
Has anyone ever seen Dallas exhibit any kind of sportsmanship when losing? I certainly haven’t in the last few years and that’s why I’ve always hated the Mavericks and the people on that team. They just give off a very thuggish vibe. Most of the time they resort to something like the crap that happened last night when Jason Kidd committed a dangerous Flagrant 2 foul on Janerro Pargo of the Hornets. It was right for him to get ejected, something like that could’ve caused serious injury since Pargo got flipped and was heading down head first.
San Antonio Spurs v. Phoenix Suns
I’m rooting for the Suns so I was happy to see them thrash the Spurs from beginning to end after their embarrassing Game 3 loss. But they have a tough task ahead of them. They mentioned this like 500 times but no NBA team has ever come back from 3-0 to win a series. It’s bound to happen sooner or later, but it’s going to be hard for the Suns, especially against the Spurs. Don’t think the Spurs are going to take the Game 4 blowout lightly.
The next game is going to be in San Antonio too. Hopefully the Suns can muster something up again. I just wonder if Bell, Diaw, and Barbosa can have decent games again. These guys are inconsistent so if they’re off in Game 5, the Suns are in trouble because they don’t really play their bench. I think they only rotate like 7 or 8 guys. Stoudemire hasn’t really been that effective either because of the Spurs defense.
And of course, the Hack-a-Shaq. This strategy is just cheap and it’s getting pretty despicable. Play some damn basketball. What the hell is this crap? I find it hard to believe any fan likes watching the Spurs pull this kind of bullshit, even when they’re up! It’s not respectable, it’s not strategy, it’s just plain old crap.
Houston Rockets v. Utah Jazz
As for Houston v. Utah, this series is just horrible. Both teams are just playing bad basketball. Neither has any shot at winning the championship. I don’t understand how this Houston unit won 22 games in a row in the regular season. I don’t know what else to say but they were just playing horrible basketball in Game 4. The whole game still stayed close since the Jazz are so bad they couldn’t even pull away. If Houston was playing the Spurs or Suns, they would’ve been blown out by 30. This series is just ridiculous.
The East
I haven’t really been following the East because of some the mediocre teams that really have no chance. Magic? Raptors? LOL. I’m pretty sure the Boston Celtics are going to the finals. The only other team in contention would be Detroit and they’re freakin down 2-1 vs the Sixers. Actually I have been watching the Cleveland Caveliers v. Washington Wizards series because of the drama going down between the teams, mainly focused around Lebron James. The fact is James is an all-star while most of the guys on the Wizards are nobodies who have no place making such a big ruckus.
