Hot Weather Brings Out the House Centipedes
We’ve recently just had a 90+ heat wave for a week here in NYC and it seems to bring out the bugs. Most notably, house centipedes. Yes I just used my advanced research skills to find that page on Wikipedia.
This Article is Downright Frightening
Uhm, the title says it all. The following link is for an article describing secretive executive orders and laws Bush has signed very recently. It gives the executive branch expansive powers and tramples on our constitutional rights. Do we live in a police state?
911 Loose Change
This is a documentary using real video footage, actual documents, and interviews to analyze each event of 911 and show links between those events and the U.S. documents. You really have to watch this. The documentary makes a very convincing argument that all the “attacks” of 911 weren’t really what it seemed like. In fact, it argues that 911 was orchestrated by the government as a pretext for its currrent foreign policy and much increased executive power. It has very chilling implications.
Nightmare
I haven’t had many dreams lately and I almost never have nightmares but I had one yesterday! For some reason I pissed off a gang and they were trying to kill me. The gang had a very creepy feel and they seemed to be everywhere in the city. Everywhere I went, there were more gang members chasing me down. So I kept running and running.
At first I kept getting away pretty easily, so I smiled and thought I was slick. But then it dawns on me that if they caught me, they’d kill me. And it felt like I couldn’t stop running. They were everywhere. I ended up in an industrial sector of the city. I get off a train and I see gang members nearby and they see me getting off the train. I start running into a junk yard. A group of them is closing in on me. I get the dreaded feeling like everything is about to crash down on me…
Then my housemate is talking. “Hey wake up, we’re going to get groceries soon.”
