Moving My Belongings From Ithaca

There was no flippin way I was going to get all of my stuff into my relatively tiny Maxima so I had to pack up a lot of crap into boxes last week, to get them shipped off. In total, I packed up 4 boxes and my printer. Boxes mostly included old textbooks, which I have a lot of, winter clothes, and other clutter/junk. You know what I’m talking about - when everything’s tucked away in drawers and shelves you don’t notice, but once you have to start packing, you realize how much clutter you actually have. Slight hitch with the pickup, but the boxes were picked up on Saturday and I hope they’ve been shipped out by now. I have to call them up tomorrow to confirm.

Gunhill Residences Sucks

Gunhill sent me a letter that’s addressed to all of the housemates indicating an amount of money we owe, giving us 3 days before legal action. These people are ridiculous. None of us are living at Gunhill right now so obviously we wouldn’t have received any previous notices in our Gunhill mailbox - they KNOW this, the asses that they are. The manager even called me the other day to indicate repairs were finished (much later than originally indicated, when I was considering staying in Ithaca for the summer). No mention of this money. Perhaps if they just called instead of sending threatening letters, I wouldn’t be so peeved.

Phil’s Latest Update From This Frozen Tundra

Boy, the past weekend has been like a tropical paradise - temperatures in the low 30s at around freezing level. Man I felt like getting out and enjoying the weather more. Considering the past week it was like a Siberian nightmare in Ithaca. We had -30 degrees F over here with the wind chill. It was insanely cold. I bought these new 180s earmuffs that go around the back of your head - these things are awesome.

Old Man Winter

Damn it is getting cold. The winds have been howling since last night. I’m talking wind hitting my windows and making very noticeable, loud noises. And it is so cold. Damn I hate winter.
