General Thoughts
Did I Catch Something?!
This morning I was in a hospital with my mom to sort out some health insurance issues (nothing serious, just administrative crap). I don’t know but I don’t like being in hospitals, especially the crowded room we were waiting in. I get paranoid I’m going to catch something and I’m a little bit of a germaphobe (real word?).
Hot Weather Brings Out the House Centipedes
We’ve recently just had a 90+ heat wave for a week here in NYC and it seems to bring out the bugs. Most notably, house centipedes. Yes I just used my advanced research skills to find that page on Wikipedia.
10 Hours of Sleep Feels Really Good
I went to bed at 4 am on Saturday night and woke up at 2 pm on Sunday. I gotta say 10 hours of sleep feels really good. I haven’t had 10 hours of sleep for probably over a year. Everyone’s internal clock and needs are different but I think I probably need 10 hours of sleep on a regular basis. But I never get that. On average, I get around 6-7 hours which is not enough because around that mid-afternoon lull, I start getting very drowsy. Here are some interesting facts about sleep you may not know:
See’s Gourmet Lollypops Are The Best
Man, I love these suckers. They’re so good! By the way the title is not a mispelling - they call this particular product “Gourmet Lollypops” and I think it ships out of California. I’d definitely recommend everyone giving it a try. There’s 4 different flavors and they’re all decent but I like Butterscotch and Vanilla best (other 2 are Caffe Latte and Chocolate).
Sleeping Position
Hi everyone, not much to post about, I’ve been keeping busy. Got this via Digg:
http://www.flatseats.com/General/positions.htm

It’s about sleeping positions and what they say about your personality. I don’t know how they can correlate sleeping position with personality and I don’t really believe in this stuff but it’s fun to read. I alternate between between Foetus, Yearner, Freefaller, and Starfish so what does that say? And who the heck sleeps in the “Log” position on top of their arm? It looks awkward and uncomfortable. I sometimes wake up in the Freefaller position except my arm is under the pillow and it’s almost completely numb because I cut off circulation. Trust me, it’s very weird when you wake up and you can’t feel your arm.
I Want to Fly
First of all, MERRY CHRISTMAS everyone!
The following is a video of a guy who flies using wings with small boosters attached to his back. He’s able to achieve sustained flight at relatively high altitude, as you see him fly over mountains and what not. It’s very cool:
