Watch 24 Tonight

So the show 24 is having the first part of it’s 2 night, 4-hour season premiere tonight. Everyone should definitely watch. 24 is so exciting and it airs new episodes practically every week non-stop during its run. Fox is releasing the 4 premiere episodes on DVD and it got leaked so I’ve already watched it last week. And I can tell you it’s frickin good. I’m still watching it on TV because it’s that good and because these shows need high ratings to stay on the air.

I’ve been watching 24 since season 4 and every season you wonder how they’ll top the previous one but they always do it. The season premiere does NOT disappoint. By tomorrow night you’ll have your jaw open and will be anxiously waiting until the next Monday so you can catch the next episode.

I’ve been meaning to watch the first 3 seasons as well but I’ve just never gotten around to it. But if it’s anything as good as the seasons I’ve watched, it’ll definitely be enjoyable. At the moment I’m actually browsing Ebay for the season 1 DVD set. There’s no other show that makes you want to see what happens next as much as 24. Lost used to have that in season 1 but it’s been all downhill since then. Lost sucks now but I’m still going to watch it because I’m already trapped. If it gets any slower I just might have to stop watching it. Yes I said it, Lost sucks. Thank you ABC and the sell-out writers for ruining what seemed like a promising series.

Anyway, watch 24 tonight and tomorrow. Cuz Jack Bauer says so.

01/15/07 10:21pm UPDATE (SPOILERS FOR WEST COASTERS): I just finished watching the broadcast here on the East coast and even thought it was my 2nd time through, that last premiere episode was still pretty amazing. I can’t believe they killed Curtis, and that Jack Bauer pulled trigger! Curtis is always so calm and cool, it’s very uncharacteristic for him to act like that. I’m assuming he’s dead but if they make it out like he lost conciousness and he’ll make it, that’ll be kind of lame. And obviously.. the big BOOM. Way to up the ante, 24. Once again, I ask - how are they going to top a nuclear explosion next season!?

I also noticed 24 will be airing at the same time as Heroes. Sorry Heroes, even though you apparently have someone going Super Saiyan on NYC, I’ll be watching 24. Nothing supersedes 24.
