Google PageRank Updates

So it seems Google recently pushed out a PageRank update and this site is now a PR5. A lot of sub-pages and older posts are also PR4. The site used to be PR4/3 so basically it’s a plus 1 increase - not too shabby since I don’t do any SEO for this site. It’s most likely due to the size of the site (posts) and the age of the site because I have very few inbound links. My business site stayed a PR3 but a lot of content pages picked up PR2 so that’s good. Bad news is my Stuffbox site dropped it’s PR altogether!

It used to be PR3 and now it doesn’t seem to have any. I don’t know if it got blacklisted (no reason that it would though) but I’m guessing it’s because I haven’t updated the site for 3 months. Just been busy with stuff you know, like making a living and struggling along as an entrepreneur. But I get by. ANYWAY, looks like I’m going to have to put in some updates to that site. Adsense revenue has dropped a lot too.

Anyway, I’m actually working on a redesign of my business site. I’ve decided to redesign this site as well. Of course I’m saying all this but who knows when I might actually get to it. The only site that’ll definitely get redesigned is the business site.

I mentioned before but in case people still wonder why I refer to it as my “business site” is because I don’t actually want to have any mention of the company’s name on this blog. This is a very personal site and contains a lot of random rants and maybe some crudeness. Needless to say this site is crawled by search bots often so I don’t want potential clients searching my business and getting a link to this site. I want strict separation of business and personal sites.

One of my sites dropped its PR, too, which baffles me completely. The site’s completely legit.
