Nuts and Cabbages

So I filled out an online application for a HSBC business checking account about a week and a half ago thinking that would be it. The online application asked for a decent amount of information about my business. I figured they’d process it, then ask me to send in some documents. Instead, 2 days ago I got this thick application packet that I have to fill out with information I already submitted. Not only that, there are 2 questionnaires that are pretty repetitive (both ask the same questions). I’ve filled out most of it and I have to photocopy something; I’ll be sending it out in the next 2 days. I don’t know but if you ask me, asking for the same information 3 times in 2 different mediums seems pretty inefficient. I guess this is why consultants have jobs.

In other news, I really want the Friends series box set - The One With All Ten Seasons. It’s a limited edition in a wooden box with a swinging glass door. I’m monitoring one on Ebay. It’s much cheaper than what’s offered on Amazon and I feel like buying it so badly. But I must refrain from extraneous expenses - every bit of extra change I can save after necessities like food I am saving for my venture. I recently started watching the Friends series over for like the 5th or 6th time, not even including the original episodes and current reruns on TV. What a great show.

Speaking of Amazon, I posted a lot of my old textbooks and it seems I haven’t sold any yet. Probably because it’s the middle of the semester but still. I really need to get rid of them. They’re a pain in the ass to move around.

By the way, “nuts and cabbages” is just some phrase my housemate made up and I’ve been using it a lot lately. It’s kind of like a statement of frustration or dissatisfaction. Nuts and cabbages!

Yea it does, but it’s not very effective and some of my older textbooks aren’t used in those classes anymore so no one at my school would want them. But thanks for the suggestions. :-)

Well long story short, I’ve been at Cornell an extra year because I switched majors, but I am graduating at the end of May. And wow, version 3? Thanks for the patronage! Technically the current site is version 7. Hope all is going well with you too, take care!
