2006 Could Be a Good Year

First post of the new year. I know I’ve been a little MIA the past month (no I’m not talking about this blog). I’ve been a bit busy making preparations for launching my business. But anyway, 2006 is upon us and in full swing. As with ritual, here are my resolutions (because it’s always good to write down your goals - really, it works):

Health and Fitness
Bulk up a little more while keeping weight below 170, finally be able to bench body weight. Eat more veggies and establish a proper nutritional diet.

Professional Goals
Obviously, I’m hoping my business gets on its feet. I’d like to surpass my first year financial projections.

Personal Goals
I’m going to start telling it like it is. No more tip toeing. You can only care about other people’s feelings so much until it starts changing your own behavior. This isn’t about proper social behavior or anything. I’m not saying I’m some pushover either. It’s just that sometimes I say things (perhaps to assuage other people) that eventually puts me in situations I don’t want to be in. So no more of that crap.

So, 3 resolutions in 3 different aspects of my life. The biggest event this year is probably going to be graduating from college finally, after what seems like an eternity at Cornell. I really don’t know where I’ll be just a year from now and that’s cool. Hopefully, wherever I am I’ll be able to start paying off school loans though. But whatever, it’s all good.
