Fall Break and Delays

Well, my business venture is falling behind schedule. I was holding off on sending out the LLC registration form until the website was more near completion, but it’s taking a while. Working on a tight budget is forcing me to do everything myself, down to every single technical detail. I’m beginning to think I would be better off if I contract some of the stuff for the website to a third party so I can get the business side running. Most of the website’s frontend has been finished, I’m now tinkering with the backend. But I’ve sent out the LLC form anyway, still have to set up a merchant account, business banking account, and digital phone line. Down to mostly logistics.

When I think about it, so far the reception towards my venture has been lukewarm. Some doubt it’s viable, some are just waiting to see if I’m successful. But this is good. This is all just like emotional fuel for me. And if you’re not on the bandwagon now, you never will be.

Anyway Fall Break is coming up, and I’m taking a small road trip with a friend to Boston. I’ve never been there, just going to see the city and explore. Will probably go home for a day or two and just bum around. My dad will be working most of the time and my mom just went back to Taiwan to care of my grandma, who recently took a fall and injured herself. My thoughts are with her and I hope she gets better soon.
