School Year Winding Down

Man, the school year is ending. Many people are graduating. A few I will still see next year but things definitely won’t be the same. Makes me all sentimental and little sad. But I’m also happy because people are starting their non-academic life. Can’t believe our group will be broken up.

Anyway, Slope Day last Friday was pretty big. It must have been one of the biggest if not the biggest Slope Day. I really got to give it up for Cornell being able to get Snoop Dogg and The Game to perform for us. The opening band was a relative unknown called The Starting Line. They sucked. The Game was okay, he did a few songs and basically said “I only have one album, let’s start this shit over” and went to his rap’s MVP song again.

The Snoop finally showed up and started performing. Very fun Slope Day. I got a free spray-on tattoo. Damn that thing looked really good, makes me want to get the real thing. Wasn’t entirely sure before but now I want one, just not sure what to get. That same night we all got together for Texas Hold’em and drank a whole lot. Stayed up until like 5 am just having fun.

Today I just had a BBQ with the guys at Stewart Park. Lots of food and lots of Frisbee. Good stuff. Good day.

P.S. On March 4, I posted this - “I’m very committed to achieving my target goal of 165 lbs.” At the beginning of the semester in January, I weighed about 183. At the time of that posting in early March, I weighed approximately 176 and I am now down to 169/170 lbs. That’s my high school weight! And it’s not even like I’m skinnier, I’m stronger than I’ve ever been. All this with no major changes to my diet. You see? Now go hit the gym!
