It’s Summer Time!
Yesterday I started my summer class, COMM 263 - Organizational Writing. Seems like it’s going to be an easy class. It’s only 3 weeks long so it should go by pretty fast. The only thing that sucks is that it’s 9:00-11:45 in the morning. At least I can nap in the afternoon. It seems I’m incapable of sleeping before 3AM and I hate feeling groggy during class.
If you didn’t know yet, about 2 weeks ago I injured my arm while playing basketball. Amazingly and also stupidly, I attempted to grab the rim and succeeded. I was hanging on for a few seconds with one arm and unfortunately as I let go, I lost balance and fell sideways. I held out my arm to stop the fall (reflex reaction) and landed on the arm.
Turns out I have a “Type 1 radial head fracture” which is in the elbow area and also a sprained wrist. It’s not as serious as it sounds because in terms of fractures, this is relatively minor. At first I couldn’t bend my elbow at all but after the doctor sucked out some blood from my elbow due to the swelling and the range of motion improved a lot. Right now, my wrist is feeling pretty good as well. I’m lucky it was my left arm because I haven’t been able to do much with it. What really sucks is that I can’t play basketball or lift weights for several weeks.

I remember my friend and I were chasing after the basketball…I tripped over him and was goin’ pretty fast.
I stopped myself with my right hand. So it got sprained.
