The Damnedest Thing

The damnedest thing happened today. I did reasonably well on my intermediate economics exam. This was highly unexpected since I missed all 3 homeworks covering the topics for this exam and while studying I didn’t do any practice problems, instead just scanned through the notes and textbook a few times.

In fact, I almost aced the exam. I only got 2 multiple choice wrong, which is really hit or miss. All my answers to the long problems were perfect. Not only did I do well, the mean for the test was 56/75 and I got 65/75 well above the mean. I was so surprised when I got the test back because I seriously expected to have done bad. Wow, I really needed this emotional boost because the last few days have just been insane. No sleep, all this work, is making me so tired emotionally.

I’m heading to Six Flags tomorrow, and I’ve been working double time to get a lot of work done before then. I could use that time to do work instead of riding roller-coasters, but I feel like this semester has been so hectic and the rest of it is so packed, that if I don’t take this one day and really have fun, I’ll go insane.
