Mario Kart Double Dash

My roommate Robert and I have been waging a war for the past month. I don’t want to brag but I’m pretty damn good at Mario Kart Double Dash on Gamecube. At least I have not yet met anyone that can beat me. I hold all the saved records. So one day a few weeks ago, Robert decides to take my name off one of the records. It was 50cc Grand Prix Mushroom Cup - the first and easiest map of the game. Not surprisingly, he succeeded. So then I beat his record. Then he beat mine. You get the idea.
It’s That Time of Year…

Yes, it’s that time of the year again. When the air feels a cool and crisp. You wake up in the morning to light falling snow. When you start getting that dreaded feeling because it’s time for FALL SEMESTER FINALS!
Yup, that time of year you feel like you may die from stress. That time of year you want to just go home and enjoy the holidays but you must first go through hell.

Damn it is getting cold. The winds have been howling since last night. I’m talking wind hitting my windows and making very noticeable, loud noises. And it is so cold. Damn I hate winter.

Thanksgiving break is just about 2 weeks away. But the road between there is packed with with exams, projects, and presentations. I get tired just looking at my schedule. What’s more, is that my sleeping patterns are totally messed up. I’ve been trying to fix it lately without much success. Last night, I laid down at around 1 AM to rest and I accidentally fell asleep. The next thing I know, I’m waking up at 4 AM. After that I couldn’t sleep for 3 hours even though I kept trying. Funny how when you don’t intend on sleeping you do, but when you want to, you can’t. I finally fell asleep at around 7 AM and slept till noon, missing my only class today.
I just have to get some work done today, meet with my group to finish up a presentation, and I’m going to play some basketball. I haven’t exercised for weeks so it’s about time.

I finally got the blog back up. Nothing much to post now. It took a while to get everything exactly the way I wanted it. I still have to change the template for the archive and comment pages. Anyway that’s about it for now.
